A college education is often the largest purchase a family makes. You can be sure a Rutgers education is a sound investment. As a public school, Rutgers can offer tuition and fees significantly lower than those of its private-school peers. And, as a major research university, Rutgers provides an academic program that stands with the best in the nation. Reasonable cost, with no compromise in quality. The cost of a year at Rutgers University for all students depends upon a number of variables, including the college you choose to attend, the meal plan you select, and where you choose to live. The above chart indicates the approximate cost of a year at Rutgers for international students attending our Camden, Newark, or New Brunswick campuses.
International students often incur additional personal and summer expenses. These figures differ somewhat from those in the expense section of the application. The figure above is a conservative estimate of what one might spend for laundry, recreation, medical care, and other personal items. This figure does not include travel to and from the U.S.
Students should bring adequate funds to cover living expenses during vacations. During winter and spring breaks one residence hall may remain open to accommodate international students; however, this is not guaranteed.
Fees are subject to change by the Rutgers Board of Governors, and other costs may increase due to inflation. Student cannot deduct fees from their documentation. |
